🧼 Are your soaps vegan?

Most of our soaps are! About 90% of them in fact. We use plant-based oils and butters, and we always note when a soap contains animal fats (like tallow) in the product description. We’re also cruelty-free, because foxes, goats, and all the other creatures deserve to laugh too.

🌱 Are your products safe for sensitive skin?

We formulate with gentle ingredients, especially since the founder (that’s me!) has eczema and super picky skin. While everyone's skin is unique, many customers with sensitivities have had great experiences with our soaps — especially the fragrance-free or essential-oil-only options. If you're unsure, we recommend starting with a simple or unscented bar.

🧽 How should I store handmade soap?

Handmade soap is a softie at heart and doesn’t love sitting in puddles. It lasts longer when stored on a well-draining soap dish and allowed to dry between uses.

📦 Do you accept returns?

Due to the personal nature of bath and body products, we don't accept returns or exchanges. That said, if something arrives damaged or you’re not happy with your order, please reach out — we’re real humans and we want you to feel good about your experience.

🌸 Do you use essential oils or fragrance oils?

Both! Some of our soaps are scented with 100% essential oils, and some use fragrance oils that are skin-safe. We love giving you options and we label everything clearly so you can choose your scent adventure. 

🧪 What’s the difference between fragrance oils and essential oils?

• Essential oils are extracted from plants — think lavender, rosemary, or citrus. They’re natural, but also a bit moody (some can be irritating in large amounts).

• Fragrance oils are lab-created blends that allow for more scent options

🎨 What do you use to color your soaps?

We love color! Depending on the soap, we use:

• Natural colorants like clays, charcoal, or botanicals
• Cosmetic-grade micas and pigments. Everything is skin-safe and cruelty-free, because your soap should be as kind as it is cute.

🧼 Why does my bar look a little different than last time?

That’s the beauty of handmade! Every bar is crafted in small batches and may vary slightly in color, swirl, weight or size — Every bar is unique. Think of them as soap siblings: similar DNA, different personalities.

🌍 Is your packaging eco-friendly?

Yes! We use plastic-free, minimal, recyclable packaging whenever possible. Sustainability is one of our core values — so your soap doesn’t just feel good on your skin, it’s gentle on the planet too.

📅 How long does your soap last?

That depends on how often you use it and how well it dries between uses. On average, a bar can last 3–4 weeks with regular use. Pro tip: keeping it out of direct water and using a draining soap dish can add days or even weeks to its life.
